A 3.7 magnitude earthquake has jolted the Garo Hills districts of Meghalaya and lower Assam region on Wednesday afternoon.
The epicenter of the earthquake was North Garo Hills district in Meghalaya.
Tremors were also felt in several other parts of the Northeast.
The earthquake was felt at 1:56pm.
Tremors were also felt in Guwahati.
This is the second earthquake of the day.
Earlier in the day on Wednesday, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake had rocked Assam and other parts of Northeast.
However, no damage to property or loss of life has been reported till the filing of this report.
