As part of an investigation done by The Indian Express, records of the Registrar of Companies and Ministry of Corporate Affairs over the last 11 years have revealed that at least six heads of top regulatory bodies, and two senior associates, took directorships with private companies within their regulatory domain raising questions of propriety and conflict of interest.
