Former Assam MLA and sports activist Rana Goswami is no more.
Rana Goswami passed away on Monday morning.
Rana Goswami had served as an MLA in the Assam Assembly representing Chaygaon constituency.
Rana Goswami was also the vice president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
He was also the president and secretary of the Guwahati Sports Association.
Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta expressed grief at the demise of Rana Goswami.
“Deeply mourn the demise of former #Chaygaon MLA & sports activist Rana Goswami. My condolences and prayers to the bereaved family members. May his soul find eternal peace,” tweeted Keshab Mahanta.
