Guwahati-based private hospital gears up to organise a Covid frontline worker crash course in the hospital premises from August 23, 2021.
Classes will be conducted daily excluding Sunday.
The worker crash course will be organised by Marwari Hospitals in collaboration with the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
With the introduction of the course, Marwari Hospitals is sure to help more and more people with the basic training related to Covid19 and thereby creating a job opportunity for all these candidates, who will undergo the basic course of Covid frontline workers.
The course is basically designed to prepare the trainees as Covid warriors keeping in view of a third wave.
The Covid frontline worker crash course consists of three courses – Basic Support Care, Advanced Care Support and Home Care Support.
On completion of the course, the Skill India Certificate will be provided to each of the candidates.
One should be Class 10 passed and above 18 years of age to pursue this course.
“For verification, the candidate or the trainee should have the Aadhar card. Without Aadhaar card, no one can pursue the course. Thi is the basic criteria to pursue this course,” said Rohit Upadhayay, hospital superintendent, Marwari Hospitals.
This will be a completely free course and the classes will be conducted at Marwari Hospitals itself, he stated further.
“It is a completely government-certified training course and even a stipend of Rs.125 will be provided to each trainee per day,” Upadhayay said.
Also, insurance coverage of Rs 2 lakh will be offered to the qualifying candidates.
The formal training will be for 21 days and after that, continuous classes will be conducted for 3 months, which will be on-job training.
So, basically, it will be a 4-month course, he added.
A set of trainers have already been selected to train the candidates, both for theory and practical.
The management of Marwari Hospitals said this will be a great opportunity for all the candidates who will get themselves enrolled in this course because by pursuing this course they will be trained on Covid management.
Besides, they can stay prepared and ready to fight against Covid19 if the country witnesses the 3rd wave of the pandemic.
The hospital management has appealed to different NGOs to send their candidates for the course so that they can enhance knowledge on Covid19 and its management for home care patients.
